 WEEKLY REFLECTION 10


The fourth week of the teaching practice started on Monday, 4th November 2024. On this day, during the second period, I taught the lesson Third Way using charts and activity cards. Later, I conducted an evaluation for the National Achievement Survey.

On the 37th day of the teaching practice, 5th November 2024, a conscientization programme was conducted for the students at 1.15 pm to 2.30 pm. The topic was Lifestyle Diseases and Food Habits. On the 2nd period in 9A, I taught the lesson Third Way  and showing innovative model related to the properties of similar triangles.

On the 38th day, 6th November 2024, I checked the Mathematics notebooks of the ninth-grade students. During the second period in class 9A, I start the  chapter Circle measures  and taught the topic Diameter and perimeter.

On the 39th day, 7th November 2024, there was an assembly. Along with this, a drug awareness program, including a mime and skit, was conducted under the leadership of higher secondary NSS volunteers. I actively participated in it. During the second period in class 9A, I start the  chapter Circle measures  and taught the topic A new number.

On the 40th day of teaching practice, 8th November 2024, during the second period in 9A , I taught the lesson Area of circle using charts and activity cards as  teaching Aids.

Today was the last day of our Third sem teaching practice.HM signed our records and we distributed sweets to teachers and students.

The third-semester teaching practice was an enriching experience. The bond with the students grew stronger with each passing day. I gained a deeper understanding of teaching methods, their strengths, and weaknesses. These 40 days helped me connect teaching with my heart and added beauty to the process. I was also able to complete the 40-lesson plan successfully.

WEEKLY REFLECTION 2 (25/11/24 to 29/11/2024)

  WEEKLY REFLECTION 2  The second week of the second phase of teaching practice began on Monday, 25th November 2024. On this day, during the 6th period, I taught the section "Absolute Value " in class 9 A with the help of charts, and activity cards. On the seventh day of the second phase, Tuesday, 26th November 2024, during the 2nd period, I taught the topic "Distances" using  charts, and activity cards. Since . In the afternoon, in connection with Anti-Worm Day, tablets were distributed under the guidance of the Health Inspector of Vilakudy Panchayat, the Panchayat President, and a doctor from the local public hospital. The Health Inspector gave necessary instructions to the students, and we participated in the event.
