 WEEKLY REFLECTION 2

The second week of teaching practice began on Monday, 12th August 2024. In this day I don't get period on 9A. Because an excise officer visited the school and created awareness against drugs during the assembly. And also PTA meeting is conducted from 2 pm to 3.40 pm.

On Wednesday, 14th August 2024, during the 2nd period, I covered the topic special operation (problems) for Class 9A. During the 3rd period, I managed a substitution class in 6th standard.

On Thursday, 15th August 2024, no classes were conducted because it was Independence Day. The occasion was celebrated with a flag-hoisting ceremony.

On Friday, 16th August 2024, the first three periods were allocated for an Independence Day quiz organized by the Social Science Club, during which the winners were selected. In the 5th period, I taught the topic Number Curiousities in 9A.At 1:30 PM, the quiz finals were conducted, and the top performers from both the high school and upper primary sections were announced. This was followed by patriotic song competitions for both sections. 

This week’s teaching practice concluded on a positive note. With the unwavering support and cooperation of the teachers and students, I successfully completed 2 lesson plans over the week.

WEEKLY REFLECTION 2 (25/11/24 to 29/11/2024)

  WEEKLY REFLECTION 2  The second week of the second phase of teaching practice began on Monday, 25th November 2024. On this day, during the 6th period, I taught the section "Absolute Value " in class 9 A with the help of charts, and activity cards. On the seventh day of the second phase, Tuesday, 26th November 2024, during the 2nd period, I taught the topic "Distances" using  charts, and activity cards. Since . In the afternoon, in connection with Anti-Worm Day, tablets were distributed under the guidance of the Health Inspector of Vilakudy Panchayat, the Panchayat President, and a doctor from the local public hospital. The Health Inspector gave necessary instructions to the students, and we participated in the event.
