CAMP DAY 5

  CAMP DAY 5 The final day of our camp, September 28, 2024, included an inspiring session by Sri, who captivated everyone with fascinating songs and stories about the history of renowned Malayalam poets. The session was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The program committee conducted a variety of activities, while the food committee ensured timely meal arrangements. This camp provided valuable lessons on teamwork, compassion, respect, and organizational skills. It was an unforgettable experience that I will always treasure.

CAMP DAY 4

  CAMP DAY 4 September 27, 2024, marked the fourth day of our community living camp, dedicated to a field trip to Wagamon. We assembled at the college at 5 AM and began our journey at 5:30 AM with 47 students and 5 teachers joining the trip. Our itinerary featured visits to Wagamon Hill Station, Adventure Park, Pine Valley Forest, and Paruthumpara. The day was full of wonderful experiences and lasting memories. Spending quality time with friends was truly enjoyable, and I gained several meaningful lessons for the future.     

CAMP DAY 3

  CAMP DAY 3  The third day of our camp started with a prayer. The day began with a presentation of the previous day’s report, after which the program committee arranged an exciting treasure hunt. The class was divided into ten groups, each under the guidance of a mentor. The game was thoroughly enjoyable, and my team proudly claimed victory. Later, Sri Lalithambika conducted an engaging interactive session, emphasizing the camp's objectives, its significance, and essential skills. A think-pair-share activity added a collaborative element to the session. Following the session, lunch was served by the food committee. In the afternoon, the program committee hosted a passing-the-ball game alongside other fun activities. At 4 PM, tea and snacks were distributed, and the day concluded with the National Anthem.

CAMP DAY 2

  CAMP DAY 2 The second day of the community living camp started with a prayer. The Fire and Rescue Officers, Mr. Sivakumar and Mr. Midhun, conducted an interactive session on "Disaster Management." The session was highly engaging, with all participants actively involved. Attendees gained hands-on experience with CPR and learned how to operate a fire extinguisher. This session wrapped up by 12:45 PM. Afterward, the food committee served a diverse range of dishes for lunch. In the afternoon, at 2:30 PM, the program committee hosted various activities such as debates and games aimed at enhancing memory and communication skills. Meanwhile, the student teachers took the initiative to clean the college campus. The reporting committee then summarized the day's events, and the camp concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.

CAMP DAY 1

  CAMP DAY 1 September 24, 2024 Today marked the commencement of our community living camp, "SAHAJEEVANAM." The event was inaugurated by our respected Principal, Mr. Sunil Kumar, along with chief guests, Ms. Umadevi and Mr. Radhakrishnan. The day began with a prayer followed by a welcome speech. Ms. Umadevi conducted a counselling session on the topic "Bio-psycho-social problems of students," during which the class was divided into six groups to interact with different activity cards, making the session highly engaging. At 12:30 PM, lunch was organized by the food committee, while other responsibilities were efficiently managed by the reception, program, and report committees. Post-lunch, the program committee arranged a series of games to conclude the day’s activities.

ONAM CELEBRATION

  ONAM CELEBRATION 2024 On September 10, 2024, we celebrated Onam at MMTC, Vilakudy with great enthusiasm. The event, named 'THARANG', featured a variety of programs. The first-year students performed Thiruvathira, while the second-year students presented Kaikottikali. Additionally, there were group dances and songs. The highlights of the day were the traditional Sadhya and Athapoo. The event was inaugurated by our Principal-in-Charge, Sri Sunil Kumar Sir.

TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION

TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION Teachers' Day is a special occasion to honor and appreciate teachers, celebrated on the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. At MMTC, Vilakudy, the students marked this day by inviting all the teachers and paying tribute to them. We presented handmade cards and organized a welcome dance, arranged by the Social Science Department. The event also featured inspiring messages from teachers, and some students shared stories about their favorite teachers and their life experiences.
